Written by Jeff Whitty, with music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, Avenue Q: School Editon tells the story of Princeton, a bright-eyed college graduate who arrives in New York City with big dreams and an empty wallet. The story follows him and his neighbors on Avenue Q as they struggle to find jobs, dates and most of all, their “purpose.”

KUSD Theatre Arts is producing the first ever School Edition of Avenue Q with brand new songs and scenes written specifically for high school performers. The changes to the script have made Avenue Q: School Edition suitable for teenage and adult audiences alike, however some material may be inappropriate for young children and parental discretion is advised.

Tickets for Avenue Q: Student Edition are available online at http://www.kusd.edu by clicking on KUSD Theatre Arts or at the door.
