Summer Opera Festival in Kenosha

Back this summer is Southeast Wisconsin Performing Arts Summer Opera Festival: presenting two weeks of operas for family entertainment! SEWPA, which runs classical performing arts camps each summer, puts on operas for children and adults and incorporates performers of all ages. This is your chance to see something beautiful and unique; something you’d otherwise have to travel to see. The classical performing arts involved in these operas, including music and ballet, are exquisitely done and offer audiences an experience beyond compare. Performance dates are listed below and tickets can be purchased online ( or at the box office; prices range from $5-$10.
Dido and Aeneas and Gianni Schicchi: June 23rd at 2 p.m.; June 25th at 7 p.m. @ Reuther H.S.
Princess and the Pea: July 21st at 10 a.m.; July 22nd at 7 p.m. @ Lincoln M.S.
Hansel and Gretel: July 28th at 2 p.m.; July 29th at 7 p.m. @ Lincoln M.S.
The Gondoliers: July 28th at 7 p.m.; July 30th at 7 p.m. @ Lincoln M.S.
