Poetry on a Line

JeanPreston, Writing Center Director and Adjunct Assistant Professor of English atCarthage College, will read from her latest work, Poetry on a Line, at BeExposed! on Friday, July 15 at Carolyn’s Coffee Connection.

Poetry on a Line features sixteen poems about sixteen mothers, and each poem is pinned to a clothesline. Jean captures the most intimate feelings of motherhood, from a child’s as well as a mother’s point of view, encapsulating profound moments and immortalizing them forever more. You won’t want to miss this presentation of the joys and sorrows in life which make motherhood so profound.

Poetry on a Line will be displayed on Friday evening, July 15, at Carolyn’s Coffee Connection for this performance. You will also be able to see it displayed in store windows in downtown Kenosha during August.
