BeExposed! Event – Friday, January 20, 2011

January’s BeExposed! Third Friday event will feature art by Iris Aranda. Iris, who is originally from Panama and was born deaf, says she found her voice in her art. Designed to express her thoughts and emotions, Iris’ art is full of vibrant colors which reflect her feeling about life’s experiences. Iris speaks with sign language and has an interpreter who will be on hand to assist her as she communicates about her art. Iris, who travels all over the world displaying her art, now makes her home in Kenosha.

Susan Larkin will perform LIVE songs from her recently released CD. “So Susan” is a collection of original, unplugged, folk-style music and uplifting lyrics taken from the heart of a lifelong journaler and an artist in residence who teaches writing from the inside out.

It’s all happening at January’s BeExposed! event, 7-9pm at Carolyn’s Coffee Connection, 1351 52nd Street, Kenosha, Wisconsin.

See you there!
