“graffiti DOLLS” Art Show at the Mosquitoe Gallery…

The Mosquitoe Gallery in Kenosha, WI will host “graffiti DOLLS” Saturday June 7.

The show will focus on modern graffiti as an art form. Art submissions include flat art, sculpture, photography, performance art, tattoo art, knitted art, baked art…. limited only by the artists interpretation of the theme. Especially noteworthy is a mural produced for the show measuring 16’ wide x 12’ high. Creative contributors include Waukegan artists Alcanter Jeebus, Shelly Johnson, David Motley and Kenosha artist Korye Champion. Production assistance by Randy Harju, Jason Verenski, Austin Harju and Hannah Harju of Kenosha’s Mosquitoe Gallery and Kenosha photographer David Kaley.

This show furthers the cooperation between the Kenosha and Waukegan art initiatives with local artists will featuring their work. It is a juried show with a $200 prize to the winner. All Art Entries are Available for Sale! Live music includes The Ingots and the Republicans On Welfare. Light refreshments will be served. The exhibition will run to the end of June.
