Murder in the Mountains . . .

Nick Cibrario invites to the public to attend the book signing of his new novel, “Murder in the Mountains,” Saturday, August 13th at Pollard Gallery, 518-56th Street. He will be at the gallery from 1:00pm-9:00pm. All of his books will be on sale at reduced prices. Light refreshments will be served.

His current novel is set in 2001. It is basically a sequel to the Garden of Kathmandu Trilogy, and occurs 25 years later. The story begins in a Chicago suburb with Carl Brecht’s family and eventually shifts to Nepal. Carl, the anthropolgist, travels to Kathmandu with his daughter, Kathy. They don’t expect to become involved with the assassination of the royal family by Crown Prince Dipendra, a real historical event. Carl’s family problems are pale in comparison to the strife at the royal palace and the pending revolution in Nepal.
